The premise is deliberately silly. The purpose is not: curiosity about which animal would win is the shortest route to caring whether it still exists.

Who made this

Daniel

Daniel built and runs Animal vs Animal. His day job is data storytelling at Datastory — turning public data into things people actually want to look at — and this site is what happens when that instinct meets a lifelong argument about whether a honey badger could take a lion.

Spotted a wrong number or the wrong animal? Tell Daniel — it gets fixed.

The charts here were made with Datastory, a tool for turning data into charts and stories without writing code. datastory.tech →
