🦡Honey badger
라텔(영어: ratel, 학명: Mellivora capensis 멜리보라 카펜시스[*]) 또는 벌꿀오소리, 꿀먹이오소리는 족제비과에 속하는 종으로 인도와 남부아시아 및 아프리카에 널리 서식한다. 성질이 거칠어 자기보다 큰 동물을 상대하는 등 대형동물을 습격하기도 한다. 벌을 먹기위해 벌집을 털기도 하며, 이에 따라 인간과의 충돌이 발생하기도 한다. 수분을 위해서는 과일을 먹기도 한다. 주로 검은맘바(외국에서는 블랙맘바라고 칭하기도 함)를 잡아먹는 동물로 알려져 있다.
