🐺Falkland Islands wolf
포클랜드늑대(warrah)는 포클랜드 제도에서만 서식하던 개과 포유류이다. 이들은 혼자 살며 새의 알이나 펭귄, 바다표범의 새끼등을 잡아먹었다고 한다. 1876년 포클랜드 섬을 침략한 영국인들에게 남획당해 멸종되었다. 도도, 여행비둘기, 코끼리새, 모아, 스텔라바다소 등과 더불어 인간의 사리분별 없는 남획으로 생태계가 파괴된 만행의 예라고 할 수 있다.
