🦡Honey badger
Bal porsuğu (Mellivora capensis), Afrika, Güneybatı Asya ve Hint altkıtasına yayılmış bir memeli türüdür. Geniş yaşam alanı ve çeşitli habitatlarda görülmesi nedeniyle, IUCN Kırmızı Listesi'nde Asgari endişe altındaki tür olarak kaydedilmiştir. Sansargiller familyasının Mellivorinae altfamilyasındaki Mellivora cinsinin tek türüdür. İsmine rağmen, bal porsuğu diğer porsuk türlerin benzemez; porsukların aksine, gelinciklerle daha çok ortak özelliğe sahiptir. Bal porsuğu etçil bir türdür. Kalın derisi, gücü ve savunma yetenekleri sayesinde çok az doğal düşmanı vardır. Bal porsuğu, Guinness Dünya Rekorlarının 2002 basımında dünyanın en korkusuz hayvanı olarak geçmektedir. Alet kullanabilen türlerden biridir.
