🐟Frilled shark

Chlamydoselachus anguineus Garman, 1884

Fırfırlı köpek balığı (Chlamydoselachus anguineus), asli köpek balıklarından biridir ve Chlamydoselachidae familyasının Hexanchiformes takımına aittir. Güney Afrika fırfırlı köpek balığı da yeni olduğu önerilen Güney Afrika canlısıdır. Bu iki tür diğer hexanchiform köpek balıklarından farklıdır ve yakın bir zaman içinde bu iki fırfırlı köpek balığına kendi takımı olan Chlamydoselachiformes verilmesi önerilmiştir. Bilinenleri türünün tükenmiş olduğuna inanılan diş fosillerinden bulunmuş, ancak 19'uncu yüzyılda Japonya sularında keşfedilmiştir. 21 Ocak 2007 tarihinde Japonya sahilinde Shizuoka'da bulunan Awashima Marine Park'ta, Tokyo'nun güney batısında canlı olarak bulunmuştur. Köpek balığı yakalanmış ancak kısa bir süre sonra ölmüştür.
