🦩Eurasian Spoonbill
Bayağı kaşıkçı (Platalea leucorodia), Threskiornithidae familyasından sığ suların büyük, beyaz, uzun adımlı, benzersiz gagalı ve balıkçıl benzeri bir kuş türü. İlkbaharda tepesi çalı görünümündedir ve göğsünün üst tarafında kirli sarı bir lekesi vardır. Gagası uzun, yassı ve incedir, yanlardan aşağı doğru hafifçe kıvrılır ve yuvarlak uca doğru genişler; erişkinlerde siyah ve ucu sarıdır, gençlerde pembe, ergenlerde ise tamamen siyahtır. Genç kuşların kanat uçları siyahtır. Kafasını ileri uzatarak güçlü ve kanatları düz bir biçimde uçar.
