Elysia chlorotica (yaygın adıyla Eastern emerald elysia), küçük ila orta boy bir yeşil deniz salyangozu türüdür. Özsuyu emen deniz salyangozları olan Sacoglossa soyunun bir üyesidir. Bu grubun bazı üyeleri, kleptoplasti olarak bilinen bir olay olan fotosentez için yedikleri alglerdeki kloroplastları kullanır. Deniz algi Vaucheria litorea'nın kloroplastları ile hücre altı endosimbiyotik bir ilişki içinde yaşar. Fotosentez yapabilen bilinen tek hayvandır.
