🐿️Eastern gray squirrel
Özellikle Kuzey Amerika'nın doğu gri sincabı adlandırması dışında sadece gri sincap olarak da bilinen boz sincap (Sciurus carolinensis), Sciurus cinsinden bir ağaç sincabıdır. Anavatanı Kuzey Amerika'nın doğusu olup, buradaki en muhteşem ve ekolojik açıdan en önemli doğal orman yenileyicisidir. Dünyanın belirli yerlerine yaygın olarak getirilen boz sincap, özellikle Avrupa'da istilacı bir tür olarak kabul edilmektedir. Avrupa'da Sciurus carolinensis, 2016 yılından bu yana Avrupa Birliği'ni ilgilendiren İstilacı Yabancı Türler listesine (Birlik listesi) dâhil edilmiştir.
