🐦Common Moorhen
Saztavuğu (Gallinula chloropus), yelvegiller (Rallidae) familyasından bir kuş türü. Bataklık çevreleri ve göllerde üreyen bir kuştur. Kuyruk altındaki beyaz çizgiler, kırmızı gaga, sarı bacaklar ve koyu renk tüyüyle ayırt edilir. Gençken daha kahverengidir ve kırmızı yüz siperi yoktur. Bu tür, bitkisel materyaller ve yaşadığı bölgedeki böceklerin büyük bir kısmı ile beslenir. Yuvası, yeşillikler arasında hazırladığı ve üstünü kapattığı sepet görünümlü bir yapıya sahiptir. Ege bölgesinde rikse kuşu, İç Anadolu'da su tavuğu ve saz kuşu, Akdeniz'de saz tavuğu ve kırmızı gagalı kumrucuk, Karadeniz ve Marmara'da kızıl dilli rikse kuşu ismiyle bilinmektedir.
