Nymphicus hollandicus (Kerr, 1792)

Sultan papağanı (Latince: Nymphicus hollandicus), kakadugiller (Cacatuidae) familyasından sarı beyaz ve gri renklere sahip bir kakadu türü. Ana besinlerini darı, çekirdek, kuru incir içi,havuç, armut sapı, kiraz sapı vb. besinlerini oluşturur. Erkeklerin taklit yeteneği vardır. Çekirdek ve dal darı gibi yiyecekler vererek insanlara alıştırılabilirler. Kalabalığı severler, kafeste kapalı kalmaktan hiç hoşlanmazlar, erkeklerin çeneleri çok kuvvetlidir. Ortalama yaşam süresi 15-25 yıldır. Sıcak iklim türü olduğu için 15 derecenin altında iyi hissetmezler.
