🐝Asian hornet
Vespa velutina ya da Asya tipi eşek arısı, Güneydoğu Asya'ya özgü bir eşek arısı türüdür. 2004 yılında ilk kez güneybatı Fransa'da görülen vespa velutina, o zamandan bu yana Avrupa'da hızla yayılmaktadır. Avrupa'ya yabancı olan bu arı çeşidinin Çin'den bir vazo içerisinde Fransa'ya geldiği ve yayıldığı düşünülmektedir.
