Phalacrocorax carbo (Linnaeus, 1758)

カワウ（河鵜、川鵜、学名: Phalacrocorax carbo）は、カツオドリ目ウ科に分類される鳥類の一種。名前の由来は文字通り「河（川）」に生息する「鵜」である。ただし、河川のみならず、湖沼、河口付近や浅海域でも普通に見ることができる。
