🦡Ferret
A vadászgörény vagy házi görény (Mustela putorius furo) emlős állat, a vad európai közönséges görény (Mustela putorius) háziasított változata. Közeli rokona a mezei avagy molnárgörény. A közhiedelemmel ellentétben a görények nem rágcsálók, hanem ragadozók: a menyétfélék családjába tartoznak, ugyanoda, ahova a menyétek, borzok, vidrák is. Vadon élő vadászgörény-közönséges görény hibridek többfelé léteznek, a legnépesebb populáció Új-Zélandon. Eredetileg patkányra, egérre, üregi nyúlra vadásztak vele, ma már egyre többen csak hobbiállatnak tartják.
