Coccinella septempunctata Linnaeus, 1758

Slunéčko sedmitečné (Coccinella septempunctata), lidově nazývané též sluníčko, berunka, beruška nebo celou řadou jiných lidových a nářečních názvů, je nejběžnějším slunéčkem v Evropě a jeden z nejznámějších brouků. Vědecké i české druhové jméno je odvozeno ze zbarvení krovek slunéčka (z latiny septem = sedm a punctum = tečka). V Severní Americe se podle vědeckého jména označuje C-7. Vědecká synonyma Coccinella (Coccinella) septempunctata (Linnaeus, 1758) Coccinella 7-punctata (Linnaeus) – synonymum vzniklé chybou ve jménu Coccinella bruckii (Mulsant, 1866) Coccinella septempunctata brucki (Mulsant, 1866) Coccinella confusa (Wiedemann, 1823)
