Straka americká (Pica hudsonia) je krkavcovitý pěvec, který se vyskytuje v Severní Americe jako stálý druh. Tento druh byl považován za poddruh straky obecné, na základě genetických studií mitochondriální DNA byl však v roce 2000 organizací American Ornithological Society zařazen jako samostatný druh.
