Medvědovití (Ursidae) jsou velicí savci z řádu šelem. Největší a zároveň nejznámější zástupci této čeledi jsou medvěd hnědý (zvláště poddruh kodiak) a medvěd lední. Na Moravě, ve Slezsku a na Slovensku se vyskytuje medvěd brtník (Ursus arctos arctos); zaznamenán byl i v Čechách.
