🦭Baikal Seal
Tuleň bajkalský (Pusa sibirica) je druh tuleně, který se endemicky vyskytuje v Bajkalském jezeře. Jedná se o nejmenší druh tuleně a jediného výlučně sladkovodního zástupce tuleňovitých. Je převážně rybožravý. Rozmnožuje se na ledu; typické je pro druh hloubení sněžných jam, ve kterých samice vrhá většinou jen jedno mládě, které jámu používá jako úkryt. Místní domorodci lovili tuleně bajkalského již od neolitu a lov pokračuje až do dnešních dní. Lov neohrožuje celkovou početnost populace, pročež je druh hodnocen jako málo dotčený.
