🐦Brown Booby
褐鲣鸟（學名：Sula leucogaster，英語：Brown Booby，台湾作白腹鰹鳥），是鰹鳥目鰹鳥科鰹鳥屬下的一種鳥類。這個物種主要分布於熱帶和亞熱帶海洋中，是以魚類及魷魚為食的遠洋性海鳥。是其分佈範圍中，最常見的一種鰹鳥。 這種鰹鳥有深褐色及白色羽色，除了部分亞種在頭部有著過渡色之外，這兩種顏色的分界線在成鳥身上相當分明——其中頭、胸、背部為深褐色；腹部則為白色，容易與其他鰹鳥做區分，且羽毛沒有季節性的差別。雌鳥在外觀上明顯較雄鳥來得大，而臉部皮膚則為黃色，與雄鳥的藍色皮膚有所分別。幼鳥則有顏色分界線較不明顯的胸腹及較為黯淡的翅膀顏色。 白腹鰹鳥善於飛行、游泳及潛水，其最著名的覓食方式是自10公尺的空中斜向俯衝入水，以捕捉水面下的獵物。其繁殖採一夫一妻制，大部分區域全年皆可繁殖，每次會在地面的淺坑中產下2枚呈白色至淺藍綠色之間的卵，約40—47天後孵化，在84—119天之後可離巢，而幼鳥之間會有內鬥的情形。雖然這個物種目前面臨到過度干擾及外來種侵擾而導致其繁殖地減少的問題，但其族群下降速度並尚未達到進一步的門檻，故於《國際自然保護聯盟瀕危物種紅色名錄》中，白腹鰹鳥被列為無危物種。
