Bombylius major Linnaeus, 1758

Дзижчало велике (Bombylius major) — паразитична муха, що мімікрує під джмелів. Це найпоширеніший вид мух роду Bombylius. Дзижчало велике харчується нектаром і є запилювачем квітів. Муха відкладає яйця у гніздах самітних джмелів і ос, а після вилуплення личинки мухи харчуються личинками комахи-жертви.
