🐢Kemp's ridley sea turtle
צב ים רידלי (שם מדעי: Lepidochelys kempii), ידוע גם כצב ים אטלנטי וצב ים רידלי של קמפ, הוא מין של צב ים שחי בשטח מצומצם מאוד במערב האוקיינוס האטלנטי, במפרץ מקסיקו. הוא צב ים נדיר ביותר ומצוי בסכנת הכחדה חמורה כתוצאה מציד, זיהום, איבוד סביבת מחיה, איבוד חופי קינון, והלכדות ברשתות דייגים. בצעירותם הם חיים בתוך אצות שצפות במים ומספקות להם הגנה. הם ניזונים מקיפודי ים, מדוזות, סרטנים, דגים, אצות וצמחי ים אחרים. הם צבי ים קטנים יחסית, ומגיעים לאורך של 60-90 סנטימטר ומשקל של 45 קילוגרם. צב ים זה תואר על ידי סמואל גארמן ב-1880.
