🦈Great hammerhead
פטישן פגום-חרטום או פטישן גדול (שם מדעי: Sphyrna mokarran) הוא מין כריש ממשפחת הפטישניים והגדול בבני המשפחה. אורכו יכול להגיע ל-6 מטרים (20 רגל), משקלו עד ל-580 ק"ג והוא בעל "פטיש" ישר וארוך ומתחתיו לסת מלאה שיניים חדות. יש לו סנפיר בולט בצורת מגל. הכריש מצוי בחופים טרופיים שונים ובסמוך למדפים היבשתיים ומצוי בכל האוקיינוסים. הוא יצור סוליטרי השוחה במים הרדודים ומחפש טרף. הוא ניזון מדגים שונים, סרטנים, סילוניות ולעיתים גם מעופות ויונקים ימיים ואף כרישים אחרים. הוא עלול לתקוף גם אנשים אך הם אינם חלק מתפריטו. כריש זה מצוי בסכנת הכחדה חמורה עקב ציד בשביל השוק האסייתי שמשתמש בסנפירי כרישים.
