🐃Goitered gazelle
צבי הזפק (שם מדעי: Gazella subgutturosa) הוא מין בסוג צבי שחי במרכז אסיה. הוא תואר מדעית בשנת 1780 על ידי חוקר הטבע הגרמני ג'ון אנטון גולדנסטט ולו כ-4 תת-מינים. המין קרוי על שמה של נפיחות גדולה בגרונו שמזכירה את מחלת הזפקת. צבי הזפק חי בערבות עשב או מדבריות ופעיל בשעות הדמדומים. הארגון החברתי שלו משתנה בין העונות מקבוצות קטנות לעדרים עצומים. בעבר, האוכלוסייה של צבי הזפק הכילה מיליוני פרטים, אולם במהלך המאה ה-20 היא צנחה במהירות כתוצאה מציד איטנסיבי שהחמיר עם כניסת הנשק החם ורכבי שטח. נכון לשנת 2020, האוכלוסייה שלו קטנה מ-50,000 פרטים והיא נמצאת במגמת ירידה מתמשכת.
