🦎Florida softshell turtle
צב רך פלורידה (באנגלית: Florida softshell turtle; שם מדעי: Apalone ferox) הוא מין של צב ממשפחת צבים רכים החי באמריקה הצפונית והוא צב המים המתוקים הגדול ביותר ביבשת לאחר המין צב האליגטור. אורכם 15–76 ס"מ והנקבות גדולות בהרבה מהזכרים שאורכם הממוצע רק 30 ס"מ. משקלם של הזכרים עד 3 ק"ג ושל הנקבות יכול להגיע ל-20 ק"ג ואף ל-40 ק"ג אם הם מקבלות מספיק מזון. צבע גופם חום-צהוב והשריון כהה יותר. הצוואר ארוך ובהיר והראש קטן ובעל חדק ועיניים קטנות. צב זה חי בביצות ונהרות בעיקר בפלורידה אך גם בדרום קרוליינה, ג'ורג'יה, אלבמה וטקסס. הוא יצור מהיר הן במים והן ביבשה. הוא ניזון מיצורי מים קטנים שונים ומצמחי מים. טורפיו העיקריים הם האליגטור, ראקונים, בואשים, שועלים ועופות דורסים ועורבים הצדים פרטים צעירים.
