קיכלי אפור (שם מדעי: Turdus pilaris) הוא מין של ציפור שיר ממשפחת הקיכליים המצוי ברחבי אירופה ואסיה, כולל בישראל. אורכו של הקיכלי 22-28 ס"מ והוא בעל גוף אפור עם כנפיים אדמדמות ומעט אפורות, בטן צהובה מנומרת בשחור, זנב, עורף וכיפת ראש אפורים, לחי וסנטר צהובים ומקור צהוב גדול. אזור השת לבן והרגליים כהות. קיכליים אלה חיים ביערות מחט, יערות פתוחים, ביצות ושדות וחיים בקבוצות קטנות של ציפורים הנשארות בקרבה אחת לשנייה כדי לגלות טורפים. כשקיכלי מזהה טורף או שודד ביצים הוא משמיע קריאת אזהרה, הגורמת לאחרים לתקוף את הפולש או לברוח. ואז האחרים בורחים או תוקפים את הפולש. הם ניזונים מחסרי חוליות גדולים המצויים ביער או באדמה. במקורם הגדול הם יכולים להוציא שלשולים מהאדמה וכן חלזונות, רכיכות דומות, עכבישים, זבובים, חיפושיות, זחלים שונים וחגבים. הם ניזונים גם מזרעים של כמה עצים ופרחים.
