תנין גמדי או תנינון (שם מדעי: Osteolaemus) הוא סוג במשפחת התניניים, הכולל שני מינים: תנין גמדי מצוי (Osteolaemus tetraspis) ותנין גמדי קונגולזי (Osteolaemus osborni). התנין הגמדי הוא אחד מששת מיני התנינים החיים באפריקה והתנין הקטן ביותר מכל בני משפחתו. התנין הגמדי אינו מין ידוע למדי לעומת שאר מיני התנינים, ולכן חלק מן הידע עליו לקוח מן הידע הקיים על מיני התנינים הדומים להם. התנין הגמדי לא נמצא ברמת שימור גבוהה, והוא ניצוד בשביל בשרו ועורו, אך לא ברמה מסחרית. על פי הערכות, קיימים בטבע בין 25,000 ל-50,000 תנינים גמדיים.
