🐬Dusky dolphin
דולפין מזנק (שם מדעי: Lagenorhynchus obscurus) או דולפין דאסקי הוא מין של יונק ימי ממשפחת הדולפיניים. הדולפין חי אך ורק בחצי הכדור הדרומי, ונמצא בחופי רפובליקת דרום אפריקה, נמיביה, ניו זילנד, צ'ילה וארגנטינה. הדולפין נודע בפעלולי הקפיצות המיוחדים שלו. הוא ניזון מדגים ודיונונים שבהם ניתן למנות את הבקלה, האנשובי והמקרל. יש שינויים בגודל ובמשקל של הדולפין המזנק במקומות שונים בעולם; בניו זילנד אורכו של זכר בוגר 1.67-1.68 מטר ומשקלו 70-85 קילוגרם, בעוד שאורך הנקבות 1.65-1.75 מטר. בפרו, אורכו 2.1 מטר, ומשקלו 100 קילוגרם. אין הרבה הבדלים חזותיים בין הזכר לנקבה חוץ מהגודל והמשקל. אחד מבין ההבדלים היחידים שניתן למנות הוא שלזכר סנפיר מעוגל יותר. הדעה הרווחת כיום היא שדולפין תועד לראשונה על ידי ג'ורג' אדוארד גריי בשנת 1828 מגולגולת ועור מפוחלץ שהוביל בספינה מכף התקווה הטובה למוזיאון הבריטי. הדולפין מעדיף מים קרירים, בטמפרטורת 10-19 מעלות צלזיוס כאזור מחיה. הדולפין המזנק ודולפין פסיפי לבן-צד (Lagenorhynchus obliquidens) נחשבו בעבר כאותו מין ואכן דומים מאוד במאפייניהם גנטית. התפתחו גם מיני כלאיים של הדולפין יחד עם Delphinus capensis ו-Lissodelphis peronii.
