🕊️Crested Pigeon
יונה מצויצת (שם מדעי: Ocyphaps lophotes) היא מין של יונה החיה ביבשת אוסטרליה והיא היונה היחידה בסוגה. היא דומה מאוד וקרובה ליונה Geophaps plumifera שגם היא מאוסטרליה. אורכה של יונה זו 30–34 סנטימטרים ומשקלה 150–250 גרם. היא בעלת ראש וגב אפורים עם מקור שחור ועיניים אדומות וכפי שמשתמע משמה גם ציצת ראש בולטת שחורה. צידיה ורדרדים והכנפיים מפוספסות בזהוב-לבן-שחור ובתחתית ירוק וסגול - צבעים העוזרים לזכר להרשים את הנקבה. הזנב ארוך והרגליים אדומות. יונה זו מצויה הרבה מזמנה על הקרקע. כשהיא עפה היא משמיעה רעשים מיוחדים הנוצרים בנוצותיה. היונה חיה בערבות, מרעה ואזורי יערות ואחו ברחבי אוסטרליה ועקב פעולות האדם היא הצליחה להגיע גם למערב ולמרכז אוסטרליה הצחיחים והיבשים. אלו עופות חברתיים מאוד הניזונים מזרעים ומעשבים ולעיתים מזיקים לשדות וליבולים של האדם.
