Chrysaora fuscescens Brandt, 1835

מדוזת-סרפד פסיפית (שם מדעי: Chrysaora fuscescens) היא מין של מדוזה גדולה מאוד החיה במזרח האוקיינוס השקט מקנדה בצפון עד מקסיקו בדרום. היא קרובתה לסוג של מדוזת-סרפד שחורה. קוטרה של המדוזה יכול להגיע לאורך חצי מטר אך הרוב יותר קטנות ואולם זרועות הציד שלהן יכולים להגיע לאורך של 3–4 מטרים. צבען ירוק בהיר עם זרועות צהובות וחלקם שקופות. המדוזה יכולה להניע את עצמה על ידי חבטה בפעמון הענקי שלה. היא ארסית ויכולה לגרום לכאבים עזים אך רק לעיתים רחוקות היא קטלנית לאדם. המדוזות נפוצות בעונות האביב והקיץ אז פורח הפלנקטון ועמו מיני שטרגליים, קריליים ודגים מתקהלים אותם המדוזה אוכלת. היא ניזונה גם ממיני מדוזות אחרות. בשל גודלה, צבעה ומראה היא מגודלת בכמה אקווריומים גדולים ברחבי העולם.
