🐧Chinstrap Penguin
פינגווין רצועת-הסנטר (שם מדעי: Pygoscelis antarcticus) הוא מין של פינגווין שמצוי באיי ג'ורג'יה הדרומית ואיי סנדוויץ' הדרומיים, באנטארקטיקה, באיי דרום אורקני, באיי דרום שטלאנד, באי בובה, באלאני ובאי פיטר. המושבה הגדולה ביותר בעולם של פינגווינים אלו היא על האי זבודובסקי, שם נמצאים מעל למיליון זוגות מקננים. מקור שמו של המין הוא מהרצועה השחורה הצרה הנמצאת מתחת לראשו, ומבחינה אותו בקלות ממינים אחרים. אורכו כ-68 ס"מ ומשקלו נע בין 3 ל-6 ק"ג. הזכרים גדולים במקצת מהנקבות, אף כי המשקל עשוי להיות מושפע ממחזור הרבייה. כיום מוערכת אוכלוסייתם של הפינגווינים בכ-7,500,000 זוגות. מזונם מורכב מיצורים שוליים, דגים וחסילונים. פינגווין רצועת-הסנטר תואר לראשונה על ידי המדען הגרמני יוהאן פורסטר ב-1781.
