🐃Chamois
צפיר האלפים (שם מדעי: Rupicapra rupicapra) הוא מין מסוג צפיר ממשפחת הפריים מתת-משפחת היעלים הנפוץ ברחבי הרי דרום אירופה ומרכזה, כולל: הרי הקרפטים ברומניה, הרי האלפים והבלקן. גם באסיה בהרי הקווקז והרי טאטרה ניתן למוצאו. המין אף הובא למספר איים בניו זילנד. במין זה שבעה תת-מינים, המובדלים במרחבי מחיה שונים על פני אירופה. עור הצפיר נמצא בשימוש נרחב בקרב תעשיית העורות, בעיקר עבור ביגוד. בגלל היותו רך ושמירת מרקמו לאורך זמן גם לאחר ניקוי.
