תוכון קרוליינה (שם מדעי: Conuropsis carolinensis) הוא מין נכחד של תוכי מקבוצת האריים, אשר היה אחד משני התוכים היחידים שמקורם באמריקה הצפונית (לצד המין החי Rhynchopsitta pachyrhyncha) והתוכי הצפוני ביותר שנודע. התוכי נכחד כליל במשך המאה ה-19. ככל הנראה היה זה קרוב רחוק של הקוניור והקוניור הזהוב. התוכון חי ממזרח ארצות הברית, לאורך המערב התיכון ועד המישורים הגדולים. תפוצתו השתרעה מחופי האוקיינוס האטלנטי של ניו יורק, במזרח ועד לקולורדו במערב. תפוצתו הייתה באזורי יערות וחורשים פתוחים, אך גם בביצות (בייחוד ביצות המכילות עצי טקסודיון) ומישורים. אורכו של תוכי זה הגיע ל-30 עד 32 סנטימטרים בקירוב, כשהזכרים היו מעט יותר גדולים מהנקבות. צבע הנוצות היה ירוק כהה עם בטן ירוקה בהירה, צוואר וחזה צהובים וכן ראש צהוב בעל "כיפה" ולחיים אדומים. המקור היה עבה, אפור ומעוקל והוא הותאם לפיצוח זרעים קשים או פירות. תוכים אלה יכלו לחיות מעל 35 שנה. התוכי עף בלהקות שיכלו להגיע ל-200 עד 300 פרטים שהתאספו לאכילת פירות שונים כמו תפוחים, ענבים ועוד, וכן זרעי צמחים שונים כמו ברוש, מייפל ועצים נוספים וגם מצמחים קוצניים כמו דרדר. החוקר ג'ון ג'יימס אודובון טען שהתוכי ניזון גם מלכיד הנחלים, מה שהפך את בשרו לרעיל לטורפים.
