🐱Caracal
קָרָקָל מצוי (שם מדעי: Caracal caracal) הוא מין טורף בינוני במשפחת החתוליים מהסוג קרקל. בעבר הקרקל נחשב למין היחיד בסוג, אך כמה חוקרים הוסיפו לסוג את המין חתול זהוב אפריקני. הקרקל אולף על ידי האדם למטרות ציד באיראן ובהודו. הקרקל חי בטבע כ-12 שנים בממוצע, ובשבי הוא יכול להגיע עד 20 שנים.
