🐃Wild yak
יאק הבר (שם מדעי: Bos mutus), הוא מין של פר ענק בשבט בקר שבתת-משפחת הפרים המאכלס אזורים גבוהים וקפואים במרכז אסיה. הוא תואר מדעית לראשונה בשנת 1883 על ידי חוקר הטבע הרוסי ניקולאי פרז'וואלסקי, והוא נחשב לאב הקדמון של יאק הבית שתואר מדעית הרבה לפניו. בעוד שאוכלוסיית היאקים המבויתים עומדת על כמה מיליונים, יאק הבר נדיר מאוד, והוא מאוים על ידי ציד כמו גם זיהום הגזע עקב התרבות עם היאק הביתי שהגנים שלו מעורבבים עם בקר הבית. יאק הבר הוא המין השני בגודלו במשפחת הפריים כולה לאחר הגאור, והוא גדול אף יותר מהביזון, התאו האסייתי והתאו האפריקני.
