🦜Blue-and-yellow Macaw
ארה כחולה-צהובה, אַרָה כּחוּלָה-זהוּבָּה, ארה צהובת-חזה או ארה זהובת-חזה שמכונה לעיתים גם ארה בלו אנד גולד (שם מדעי: Ara ararauna), היא מין בקבוצה גדולה של תוכים נאוטרופים הידועים בתור ארות. מין זה מצוי בדרום מזרח אמריקה (ובעיקר במזרח אמריקה הדרומית) – מוונצואלה לברזיל, בוליביה, קולומביה ופרגוואי. בתי הגידול המועדפים על הארות הכחולות-צהובות הם יערות טרופיים וסובטרופיים, אזורים מיוערים וסוואנות. מין זה מבוקש מאוד לצורך גידול בשבי, בשל צבעוניותו ויכולת הדיבור שלו. מצב השימור של מין זה מוגדר ללא חשש ברשימה האדומה של ארגון IUCN. עם זאת, הוא נמצא על סף הכחדה בפרגוואי. אוכלוסייתו הכללית קטנה בהדרגה, אך לא בקצב שגורם להחשיב מין זה כמצוי בסיכון. ישנם כ-10,000 פרטים בטבע, ומספרם ירד בפחות מ-10% בעשר השנים האחרונות. הארה הכחולה-צהובה נכחדה בטרינידד וטובגו, אך אוכלוסייתה שוקמה בטרינידד.
