🦈Blacktip shark
כריש שחור-שוליים (שם מדעי: Carcharhinus limbatus) הוא מין של דג סחוס במשפחת הכרישיים. כריש זה מצוי באזורים הטרופיים של העולם, בעיקר בקרבת שוניות אלמוגים או חופים. לעיתים מבלבלים בינו למין כריש שחור-שוליים אוסטרלי. אורכו הממוצע 1.5-2.8 מ' ומשקלו עד 123 ק"ג. הוא אפור בצבעו אך הבטן לבנה וכפי שמרומז משמו צידי הבטן כהים יותר משאר הגוף. הראש רחב ומשוטח וקצוות הזנב והסנפירים העליונים והתחתונים כהים בקצה. כריש זה יותר חברתי ממינים אחרים ולעיתים משתפים פעולה בעת ציד דגים אחרים. הם אף קופצים ממעל למים כדי לכנס את הדגים. הוא אוכל מגוון דגים ואיננו בררן. הוא יטרוף אפילו מיני כרישים אחרים או בטאים קטנים. הוא איננו תוקפני לאדם, למעט לדייגים שמנסים לצוד אותו. עם זאת כרישים המצויים בטירוף אכילה עלולים להפוך לתוקפניים ביותר. בפלורידה כריש זה אחראי ל-16% מתקיפות הכרישים בכל שנה כאשר כמה מהמתקפות מסתיימות במוות.
