🐟Barramundi
ברמונדי (שם מדעי: Lates calcarifer) הוא מין של דג גרם גדול ממשפחת הלטסיים וקרוב משפחה של הדג נסיכת הנילוס. דג זה חי בטבע במימי האזור האינדו-פסיפי בין דרום-מזרח אסיה עד צפון אוסטרליה במים מתוקים אך יורד גם למי הים. מקור שמו של הדג משפה האבוריג'ינית ופירושו "דג נהר גדול-קשקשים", אם כי השם המקורי ניתן לדגים מהסוג Scleropages ממשפחת גרום לשוניים. הדג הופץ כדג מאכל מסחרי חשוב ברחבי העולם לבריכות דגים בין השאר: באזורים שונים באוסטרליה, ערב הסעודית, מלזיה, הודו, ישראל, תאילנד, בריטניה, ארצות הברית ופולין.
