תוכי מלכותי אוסטרלי (שם מדעי: Alisterus scapularis) הוא מין של תוכי ממשפחת התוכיים המצוי במזרח אוסטרליה. הוא מצוי מחצי האי כף יורק שבקווינסלנד ועד לדרך האוקיינוס הגדולה שבויקטוריה. תוכי זה הוא אחד משלושת המינים מהסוג Alisterus הקרובים לרוסלה ולדררה. תוכי זה בעל חד-צורתיות זוויגית ומגיע לאורך 43 ס"מ ולמשקל 195-285 גרם. תת-המין Alisterus scapularis minor הוא קטן יותר מתת-המין Alisterus scapularis scapularis. התוכי בעל נוצות בצבע אדום עז, גב כחול, נוצות כנפיים וזנב ירוקים-כהים ומקור ורוד עם קצה שחור. לחלק מהתוכים ישנן נוצות כתומות בזנבם כתוצאה ממחסור במלנין. תוכי זה נפוץ ברחבי יערות לחים מצפון לדרום ולעיתים נמצא גם בביצות, ערבות לחות ואף בערים גדולות כמו קנברה וסידני בחלק מהפרברים. הוא ניזון בעזרת מקורו הרחב והקשיח מזרעים ופירות מהעצים או מאלה שנפלו לקרקע. בדומה לתוכים אחרים הוא משמש חיית מחמד רגועה ובעלת יכולת לחקות קולות אחרים, אך לא קולות אנשים. עם זאת הם נחשבים למסורים למטפליהם. תוחלת החיים של תוכי זה בשבי יכולה להגיע ל-25 שנה.
