🪲Green shield bug
Viherlude (Palomena prasina) on viherluteiden sukuun kuuluva laji. Se on 12–15 mm:n pituinen. Vatsapuoli on punertava tai vihertävän keltainen. Selkäpuoli on vihreä ja siinä on mustia pilkkuja. Myös jalat ovat vihertävän keltaiset. Viherludetta esiintyy metsissä ja puutarhoissa kesäkuulta elokuulle. Laji talvehtii aikuisena ja muuttuu silloin väriltään ruskeaksi. Viherlude esiintyy Suomessa etelästä Vaasan korkeudelle saakka. Laji on vakiintunut Suomeen ja luokitellaan elinvoimaiseksi lajiksi.
