Rhinella marina (Linnaeus, 1758)

Agakonna eli jättikonna (Rhinella marina, aik. Bufo marinus) on maailman suurin konnalaji. Suurin punnittu agakonna painoi 2,7 kiloa, joten kyseessä oli samalla maailman suurin sammakko. Agakonnaa on tarkoituksella levitetty uusiin elinympäristöihin torjumaan "sokeriruokokuoriaista" (cane beetle; Dermolepida albohirtum). Mutta luontaisten vihollisten puuttuessa sekä myrkyllisyytensä ja lisääntymiskykynsä ansiosta sen populaatiot aiheuttavat tuhoa paikallisille ekosysteemeille. Agakonna onkin listattu yhdeksi sadasta haitallisimmasta vieraslajista.
