🐟Atlantic salmon
Lohi (Salmo salar) on lohikalojen lahkoon kuuluva kalalaji, jonka alkuperäinen levinneisyysalue on viileissä Pohjois-Atlantin vesissä ja niihin virtaavissa joissa. Se on anadrominen vaelluskala, joka viettää pääosan elämästään merissä, mutta vaeltaa esimerkiksi Suomen jokiin kutemaan. Lohi on tärkeä ruokakala ja maailmanlaajuisesti yksi kalanviljelyssä eniten tuotettuja kalalajeja. Se on lisäksi tavoiteltu saaliskala. Lohesta tunnetaan kaksi ekologista muotoa. Meriin vaeltavista lohikannoista käytetään nimitystä merilohi erotukseksi järvilohesta, jolla viitataan koko elämänsä sisävesissä viettäviin lohikantoihin. Lohenkalastus on ollut kenties ensimmäinen virkistyskalastuksen kohde.
