🦟Aedes albopictus
Tiikerihyttynen (Aedes albopictus) on hyttysten heimoon kuuluva aasialainen laji. Lajista käytetään myös nimitystä aasian tiikerihyttynen. Laji saapui Eurooppaan käytettyjen autonrenkaiden kaupan mukana. Autonrenkaiden sisälle oli jäänyt vettä, jonne hyttynen oli muninut. Laji kantaa vähintään 22 virusta, joista yksi on denguekuumevirus. Tiikerihyttystä pidetään yhtenä maailman sadasta haitallisimmasta vieraslajista. Hyttysen pisto on lisäksi muita hyttysiä kivuliaampi. Lajin leviämisen Alppien pohjoispuolelle estää liian kylmät talvet.
