🐦Bush Stone-curlew
طائر كروان الأدغال أو طائر الركبة السميكة هو طائر كبير يعيش على الأرض، وهو مستوطن في أستراليا. موطنه المفضل هو السهول المفتوحة والغابات، حيث يطارد ليلًا اللافقاريات مثل الحشرات. يتميز بلونه الرمادي والبني، وبخطوط داكنة، وعينين كبيرتين، وساقين طويلتين. تتمكن طيور الكروان من الطيران، لكنها تعتمد على تمويه ريشها لتجنب اكتشافها خلال النهار؛ ويصبح الكروان جامدًا عندما يدرك أنه مُراقَب. يضع الطائر بيضتين على أرض مكشوفة، وعادةً ما يضعهما بالقرب من الأدغال في مكان ذي ظل أو بجوار الفروع المتساقطة.
